Moving a KFM archive to a different machine

In some cases, you might develop a website on a test server, then need to move the files to a different machine. There is a possible problem here if the username that KFM runs under is not the username of your FTP account.

To solve this, download these files, and follow these steps.

unzip the files and place them in the KFM program's directory on both servers.
load up make_world_writable.php in your browser on both servers. This allows your FTP user account to affect the archived files.
transfer your files
load up make_secure.php in your browser on both servers. This fixes the permissions.
remove the make_world_writable.php and make_secure.php files from both servers.
