Installation

To install KFM, first unzip the archive, and move the resulting kfm-1.x directory to wherever you want it.

For version 1.2.x installations, rename the configuration.php.dist file to configuration.php, edit it to your own satisfaction, and then ... well, that's it!

For version 1.3.x installations, copy the configuration.dist.php file to configuration.php, remove the lines that you don't want to change, edit the rest to your own satisfaction, and then ... well, that's it!

To test it, use your browser and go to the directory you installed KFM in. KFM will automatically install its database tables using the details you placed in the configuration.

If there are any problems, please check the Troubleshooting section.

If all else fails, you can use our installation service.
